POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Vassar College scored twice in the first six minutes and never looked back as the Brewers dealt Union College an 8-0 defeat in Liberty League field hockey action on Saturday afternoon at Weinberg Field.

Isabel Lubin added a defensive save for Union (8-2, 1-2 Liberty League) on the afternoon.
Bauman opened the scoring 3:28 into the contest and that was followed less than two minutes later by a Leilani Llamas tally. The Brewers added one more late in the first quarter, then scored one in the second to take a 4-0 lead into the half. The home team followed the same script in the second half, scoring three times in the third and once more in the fourth to account for the final score.
Union will return home on Wednesday to take on Morrisville State College beginning at 6 p.m.
