Sophie Matsoukas was excellent in between the pipes stopping 54 shots.
Matsoukas's 54 saves is ninth in the Dutchwomen's Division 1 era. This was also the most saves by a Union net minder this season.
In the first period, both teams were unable to find the back of the net. Matsoukas made 17 stops in the first period. Union went 0-1 on the power-play. In the second period Harvard broke through on a deflected puck that found its way through Matsoukas. Union continued to up the pressure but were unable to find the back of the net.
In the third, Harvard tallied twice including a empty net goal to extend their lead to 3-0.
Union went 0-4 on the power-play and 1-3 on the penalty kill. Senior
Cassidy Michalicka was 13-12 from the faceoff dot.
This loss was the final game of the 2021-22 season for the Union College Dutchwomen.
