Brown won the first game 4-1 and lost the second game 5-1. Senior Shay Maloney leads the in goals, nine, and points, 16. Maloney and graduate student Megan Forrest are tied with seven assists on the season. Sophomore Kaley Doyle is 4-10-1 on the season and posted a 2.38 goals against average and a .927 save percentage.

- Brown and Union faced off against last Tuesday, January 25. Brown came from behind to beat Union 2-1 at Meehan Auditorium. Sophomore
Josie McLeod scored the lone Union goal. Maloney and Forrest scored for the Bears.

About the #9 Bulldogs:
- Yale comes to Messa Rink for its first and only visit of the season. Yale split the weekend with Brown, with a 4-1 loss and a 5-1 win against the Bears. Sophomore Elle Hartje leads the team in goals assists and points. Hartje has scored 11 goals, tallied 24 assists and totaling 35 points on the season for the Bulldogs. Yale has had two goaltenders split time in the net. First-year Pia Dukaric has posted a 7-2-1 record and posted a 1.30 goals against average and a .928 save percentage. Senior Gianna Meloni has a 1.50 goals against average with a .934 save percentage and a 9-3-0 record. Yale has scored the seventh most goals in the nation with 84 goals in the season. Yale has the third best power-play in the nation converting at a 27.5% clip.

MAC Goaltender of the Month and Rookie of the Month:

Sophie Matsoukas was named the MAC Goaltender of the Month and Rookie of the Month as she posted a posted a 0.71 goals against average and a .978 save percentage as well as earning her first collegiate shutout and win for the Union College women's hockey team. Matsoukas went 2-0 in two starts and made 91 saves in 93 shots in the month of December. She was also named MAC Goaltender of the week on December 14th.

Maren Friday was named Rookie of the Week on October 4, following a four point weekend sweep against the Tigers of RIT. Friday has a goal and an assist in both games. Union started the season off 2-0-0.
Fresh Faces:
- The Union College women's hockey team enters the year with 15 players who have never played a collegiate hockey game. Seven sophomores are returning after not seeing the ice last year because of the pandemic, while eight first-years will played in their first collegiate games for the Dutchwomen in the season opener at RIT.
