TROY, N.Y. – The Union College women's soccer team battled Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to a conference scoreless draw on Saturday at Renwyck Field.
Sophomore goalkeeper Maya Koster played all 90 minutes, stopping five shots and first-year defender Gill Horvath contributed solid play to help extend the Garnet Chargers' shutout streak to 256:10.
Offensively, senior forward Sam Friedman led the team with two shots on goal, while junior defender Anne Pearl, first-year midfielder Addison Macdonald, and junior forward Annabelle Thomas each added a shot on target.
Women's soccer returns to action on Wednesday, traveling to Eastern Connecticut State for a non-conference matchup. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
