SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College baseball team plated 15 runs in a 15-5 non-conference win in seven innings over Williams College on Wednesday afternoon at Central Park A Diamond.

With runners on second and third, Mentzer lined a two-run double into center field to tie the game. Two batters later, sophomore Caleb Miller hit a double of his own down the left field line and Mentzer crossed home for the lead.

The Union offense stayed hot in the fourth inning with five runs. Sophomore Liam McIlroy blasted his team-leading fifth homerun over the fence in center field. Union loaded the bases with two outs and Zaslaw dropped a single into center field to drive in a pair of runs. Junior Sam Strazza drew a walk to load the bases again and classmate Dan Sheeran singled through the right side which scored two more runs for the home team.

The visitors pushed back in the top of the fifth inning. With runners on the corners, an RBI single cut the lead by one. The Ephs scored their second run of the inning on a wild pitch before following it up with another RBI single to make it a three-run game.
