The win assures Union (17-8, 6-1 Liberty League) of at least matching the highest conference winning percentage in a season in program history as well as ensuring the fewest conference losses in a season ever.

The home team used a 6-2 run to open up a 15-9 advantage and led by as many as seven before four straight points opened up a nine-point lead to end the match.
Union finished the match with 47 kills on 108 attempts and almost doubled up the Raptors in kills, limiting Bard to .103 hitting and 24 kills.
The Garnet Chargers will play their final home matches of the regular season on Saturday, hosting William Smith College for an 11 a.m. match and battling with Babson College at 3 p.m.
