TROY, N.Y. – Junior Jelena Perovic and senior Jenna Forman of the Union College women's basketball team were recognized for their excellent play on the court this season with spots on the All-Liberty League teams, the conference office announced on Tuesday morning.

Perovic moves up to the first team after earning second-team honors as a sophomore, while Forman earns her first career All-Conference award with a spot on the third team. Perovic is the first Union player to be named to the All-League first team since Erin Lyons '17 in 2015-16, while Perovic and Forman are the first pair of Union teammates to be honored in the same season since Lyons and Abby Katz '17 during the same 2015-16 campaign.

The junior ranked fourth in the Liberty League in scoring, sixth in rebounding average and third in blocks per game on the year, while also ranking top-six among Liberty League players in field goal percentage (44.5 percent) and free throw percentage (75.3 percent). She scored in double figures in 18-of-22 outings this season with four double-doubles, highlighted by 20-point efforts against St. Lawrence University on January 17 and Clarkson University on September 14.

In the first 69 games of her career, Perovic has averaged 10.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in garnet while shooting 46.7 percent from the field, and will enter her final season with 719 points and 385 rebounds to her credit.

She finished the year first in the Liberty League in blocks, eighth in rebounding and 14th in scoring. The senior scored in double digits in five of her last six games and 12-of-25 contests overall this year, led by a career-high 29 points at Skidmore College on January 31.
