I was looking for a small liberal arts school that had both a good running program and a good theatre program. In both areas, Union really caught my eye.

At Union: A Dean's List student.
2024: Ran at eight of the team’s nine races as a senior … ran the best 6K time of his career and the third-fastest in school history with a 19:37.2 finish to place fourth at the Ron Stonitsch Invitational (9/14) … posted his best 8K time of the season at the NCAA Mideast Regionals (11/16), earning All-Region honors and qualifying for the NCAA Championships with a 27th-place time of 25:19.8 … finished the 8K course in 25:57.4 at the NCAA Championships (11/23).
2023: Competed in seven meets for the Garnet Chargers … finished top-two amongst all Union runners in all seven appearances … trimmed nearly 37 seconds off his personal-best 4k time to kick off the season at the Vassar Season Starter (9/1), finishing in second … finished in fourth at the Trinity (Conn.) Invitational (9/9) a week later, running the 5k in 16:41.3 … posted three top-20 finishes in the next four meets … crushed his previous 8k best at the RPI Harvest Classic (9/16), pacing all Union runners with a 25:14.2 mark, almost two minutes better than his previous best time … finished 13th in the highly acclaimed Paul Short Run (9/30) … posted top-36 finishes at the Liberty League Championships (10/28) and NCAA Mideast Regional Championships (11/11).
2022: Appeared in six of the eight meets this season for Union … best finish was a top 10 finish at the Aldrich Invitational (9/17) with a seventh place finish and a 20:21.1 … ran a personal best 26:55.7 8k at the Siena XC Invitational (9/10) … finished 65th overall at the NCAA Division III Mideast Region Cross Country Championships (11/12) with a 28:07.3.

2021: Appeared in all seven races for Union in his first season … finished in 18th place with a 13:55.3 at the Vassar Season Starter 4k (9/1) … in his collegiate 8k debut, Neff ran a 28:01.8 which earned him a top 40 place at the Siena Invite (9/11) … ran a season best 8k at the Keene State Invitational (10/2) with a time of 27:08.3 that placed him 22
nd overall.
Prior to Union: A 2021 graduate of Bow High School … ran four years of cross country and outdoor track and also spent four years on the Nordic skiing team for the Falcons … a National Honor Society student.
