Prior to Union: A 2005 graduate of the Peddie School... Is part of the Navy ROTC program... Was named Trentonian First Team All-Area his junior and senior seasons... Earned First Team All-Prep and All-Conference honors from the Trenton Times his senior season... Also played football, earning Second Team Trentonian All-Conference Honors, Trenton Times Second Team All-Conference Honors and Star Ledger Second Team All-State honors his senior season

2006: Started 25 of 27 games... Batted .245 and stole five bases

2007: Started nine of fifteen games…Had seven hits, including one double... Named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team

2008: Started 24 of 25 games...Had a .325 batting average...Hit a team high nine doubles...Tied for team highs in triples with three and RBIs with twenty...Had a .506 slugging percentage on the year.
