Biography

Peters attended Abington Heights High School.  In high school, he made the 2005-06 Pennsylvania Football News All-Academic Gold Team and  was the Scranton Times-Tribune Scholastic Superstar.  He earned Liberty League Defensive Player of the Week honors for the week of Monday, September 10 in 2007.  He is the Union record holder for tackles in a game with 22.

2007: John appeared in nine games on the year and finished the season with 31 total tackles.

2008:Captain; Leading returning tackler with 75 and is an Academic All-American candidate.  Peters set a record with 22 tackles in a game vs. Springfield.
