Kate started in 30 out of 34 games for the Dutchwomen, rounding out her junior season with 817 saves and .916 save percentage ... She combined with teammate Alana Marcinko for a shutout of Sacred Heart University on October 15th ... Kate was also named ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week in January and ender her season with being presented the Most Valuable Player Award.
2009-2010
The Minnesota native started in nine of 12 games played her sophomore season, maintaining a .911 save percentage and making 288 saves... Kate made her first start of the season at home against Sacred Heart on October 17th, posting 23 saves to earn the win ... She earned her second win on the season against Maine (Dec. 11th), stopping 33 shots ... She was then named ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week on December 14th ... Kate made a career-high 43 saves against Colgate on February 19th.
2008-2009
Kate played in five games her rookie season for the Dutchwomen, posting a 0.58 goals-against average, recording a .984 save percentage, and stopping 61-of-62 shots … She made her first career appearance against Yale on October 31st, stopping six shots … She denied three shots at Sacred Heart on October 29th, had 17 saves against Brown on November 11th and posted a then career-high of 23 saves against Dartmouth on January 31st … Kate rounded out the season by stopping 12 shots at St. Lawrence on February 7th.

Kate played 10 years with the Syracuse Stars under Head Coach Lou Usherwood … She was named captain in 2006 and 2007, posting a .930 save percentage and a 0.88 goals-against average during her tenure … Kate led the team to State Championship titles in 2006, 2004, 2003 and 2001 … Her team finished third in the nation in 2004 … She played one year for the Blake School under Head Coach Brano Stankovski, posting a .954 save percentage and a 0.96 goals-against average … She led the team to a 17-1-3 record and a first place finish … Kate was named All-Conference, All-State Honorable Mention, AP First Team All-State and was a Top Five finalist for Senior Goaltender of the Year.
