Biography
2012-2013: Swam in six relays in which the 500-freestyle placed second with Diana splitting 26.50, the 200 free placed 2nd with Diana splitting a 25.52 and the 400 free where Diana splits 56.12 at the Union Relays (Oct. 27)...In a dual meet versus Rochester (Nov.10), Diana finished third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.83 and third in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:04.60. She also swam the final leg of the 400-freestyle relay, helping her team to a second place finish in the race...Was a member of the 200-freestyle relay team that placed third against Williams with a time of 1:44.80 (Nov. 17)...Placed in the top 10 in three events at the Liberty League Championships (Nov. 30 - Dec. 1)...Was highlighted in the 200-yard medley relay (1:56.37) and in the 50-yard freestyle (26.41) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:43.67), placing third in all those events in a loss against Amherst (Dec. 5). Participated in the 400-yard freestlye relay, Diana helped the team place second with a time of 3:55.17, against Hartwick and Springfield (Jan. 5). Placed first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.34, placed second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 57.48, and helped the women's 200-yard freestyle relay place first splitting at 26.33, in a dual meet against RPI (Jan. 11)...Earned a third place finish in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.36 in a loss against Middlebury (Jan. 19). Placed second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.12 in a duel meet against Ithaca. Finished third in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:04.87 (Feb. 2). Diana competed in the 50 free going 25.11, 100 free in a time of 54.99 and 100 fly in a time of 1:02.60 during the last meet of her swimming career at the UNYSCS Championship Meet at Ithaca College. Fletcher also led the 200 free relay to a 6th place finish. (Feb.20-23)...Named to the 2012-2013 Liberty League All-Academic team.
2011-12: During this season, Fletcher took third place in her event in a dual swim meet against Williams on November 20.
2010-11: During this season, Fletcher placed first at the Liberty League Championships on December 2 with the 400-yard freestyle relay team with a time of 3:40.43.
Prior to Union: Diana's high school highlights included being a Divisional Champion in 2008 and being a state qualifier in 2007 and 2008.
Personal: Diana is currently enrolled in the Scholars Program and has made the Dean's List...She is the daughter of Sandy and Bill Fletcher...Born on April 8, 1991.
