Biography

Cassese is coming off of an excellent 2009 season, recording six deflections and 36 tackles at safety. He sat out most of 2008 due to injury. Cassese is the leader of the defense, and his size is beneficial in the secondary.

Anthony was a 2nd team D IV-V  honoree in both his junior and senior years at Gilmour Academy. He was in the top 10 in interceptions in the area. In his four season his record was 35-5 and the Gilmour Academy teams went to the playoffs three straight years. He was a two-time D IV-V honoree at Gilmour Academy.
