Biography

LaPoint came back strong from an injury vs. RPI in 2011. He did not participate in 2012 but worked hard in the summer and is back to full strength. LaPoint is a good linebacker with great special team skills.

Lapoint had 7 unassisted tackles and 12 assisted tackles for a total of 19 in 2011. He posted 0.5 tackles for losses.

LaPoint has earned a starting nod at linebacker in his second year. He is hard nosed and is a good hitter. LaPoint was a two-time Second II All Star at South Glens Falls High, and he led the team in tackles in his senior season.
