Biography

2012:  Gained a total of 92 return yards on 5 kickoff returns and 1 punt return against Hobart.  Recorded 2 tackles and an interception in a win over Saint Lawrence.  Had 7 tackles in the second game of the season against Utica.

Macchio led Union with 536 yards on 22 kick returns, averaging 24.4 per return. He has recorded 44 tackles over the last two years. He may be the best kickoff return man in the league. Macchio has stared at corner and has been a varsity player since his freshman season. He earned All-League and All-County honors at Dumont High School.
