2012-13: RECEIVED WILLIAM B. JAFFE '26 ATHLETIC AWARD- Presented to the senior male athlete voted by the Athletic Department to be outstanding athlete of the year, taking into account the character and motivation of the individual in addition to athletic excellence.
Josten's Finalist (Final Ten Players Nationally) Outstanding Player Award...D3 Hoops East Region 1st Team Selection... ECAC Upstate Region 1st Team Selection...National Association of Basketball Coaches All East Region 2nd Team...Donohue was a unanimous Liberty League First Team selection...He was named Liberty League Player of the Week three times and to the Honor Roll four times...He tallied 26 points and 18 rebounds against Clarkson on January 4th...27 points against local-foe RPI on January 12.. Tallied almost 50% of the team's points against Bard with 30 on January 18...Had his fifth 20+ point game against Hobart (24 points) on January 22...28 points against St. Lawrence on January 23...Career best 37 point game against RIT on January 28...Led the team in points (512), averaging nearly 20 points a game (19.7) and rebounds with 210, 153 of those rebounds coming from the defensive end....Had his sixth double-double of the season against Hobart with 28 points and 12 rebounds...One of six players in Union basketball history to score 1,400+ points (finished at 1,499 for his career)...Scored 24 points in the semifinal game against RPI...Named to the 2012-2013 Liberty League All-Academic team.
2011-12: Named to the Liberty League Second Team...Three-time Liberty League Performer of the Week...Started in all 25 games...lead the Dutchmen in rebounds with 147 and rebounds per game with 7.7...dished out 84 assists..also lead the team in points per game with 15.2...contributed 23 steals...lead the squad with 16 blocked shots...named the Sig Makofski Invitational Tournament MVP...
2010-11: Played in all 25 games and led the team withan average of 14.2 points per game...averaged 6.6 rebounds per game... had 11 games scoring in double digits.. posted a season high 25 points against Western New England College on 12/11... Had a career high 11 rebounds against Hobart.. was a three-time Liberty League Performer of the Week and was named All-Liberty League Men's Basketball Honorable Mention...
2009-10: Played 25 games and emerged as a starter for the last eight games…played at least 35 minutes in four of the final eight contests…hit for 20 points at RPI and matched it the next night at Vassar, earning Liberty League Forward of the Week honors on Feb. 1…also named Liberty League Rookie of the Week on Feb. 22…career high 26 points at Skidmore… 24 points with seven boards at St. Lawrence…career high eight rebounds each in three games…blocked four shots at Hamilton…11 double figure point games, including four of 20 or more.
Prior to Union: Named the Albany Times Union Small School Player of the Year…WNYT-TV 13 All Star…named to the first team for Post-Star and Foothills Council all star teams…third team All-State honoree.
