Biography

2013: Franzese was named to the Liberty League All Star Second Team. He had 578 yards rushing and a team high six touchdowns on the ground. He was also second in receptions with 25, accounting for 210 yards and a team high three touchdown catches.

2012: Franzese ran 819 yards and seven TDs and also had 181 yards and two TDs receiving. He was a First Team Liberty League All Star and also won player of the week honors. Franzese is a smart player who can make DBs miss in the open field.T.J. had another 100 yard game against Merchant Marine totaling 104 yards on 19 carries on senior day for the Dutchmen. He also caught 5 passes for 35 yards and a touchdown. Franzese ran 9 times for 12 yards and had 2 catches totaling 12 yards against Hobart. Had 23 carries for an impressive 178 yards and 2 touchdowns against Rochester, which resulted in Franzese being named Liberty League Offensive Player of the Week. Had 20 carries for 97 yards and a rushing touchdown, as well as 5 receptions for 44 yards, against WPI. Carried the ball 16 times for 96 yards and had 1 reception for 26 yards against Springfield. Had 12 rushes for 52 yards and a touchdown as well as 2 catches for 11 yards in a winning effort against Saint Lawrence. Ran 17 times for 134 yards against Utica and scored his first touchdown of the season. Had 26 carries for a total of 91 yards and a rushing touchdown against Ithaca. Had 17 carries for 34 yards in the season opener against Salve Regina.

2011: Franzese led Union in rushing with 586 yards. He also had two TDs and 5.5 yards per carry and received Liberty League all star honors. He had three 100 yard rushing games including 149 vs. Springfield. Franzese was all league after just half a season at Don Bosco High.
