Biography
2013-2014: Madeline was named women's team captain for a second year in a row and lead the womens team to a very successful dual meet season and an overall third place finish at the UNYSCA State Championship. Placed 9th in 500m freestyle (5.14.14) in the UNYSCA state championship final.
2012-2013: Madeline named women's team captain for the 2012-2013 season. Maddie competed in the 500 free going a time of 5:16.88, placed 4th in the 1650 free with a time of 17:47.90, and swam the 200 free with a time of 1:59.36. In addition Maddie also competed in the 800 freestyle relay that placed 4th overall ath the UNYSCS Championship Meet at Ithaca College (Feb 20-23)
2011-12: During this season, Ashworth placed third at the 1,650-yard free at the UNYSCSA Championships on February 25 with a time of 17:44.18.
2010-11: During this season, Ashworth placed 2nd in the 1000 Freestyle on January 2nd at Amherst with a time of 10:59.43... At States she placed 3rd in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:07.97, 2nd with the 800 Relay team with a time of 7:47.35 and 3rd in the 1650 Freestyle with a time of 17:39.86.
Prior to Union: A 2010 graduate of Pittsford Mendon High School.
Personal: Born on August 14, 1992... Daughter of Andy and Linda Ashworth.
