-Beth Tiffany spoke about the upcoming NCAA vote on new policies. SAAC members were in favor of allowing two preseason scrimmages, members were not in favor of grad students playing at D3 schools especially at Union and other schools that don't have grad programs, swimming members were not in favor totally of the team members not all having the same day off because it would break down the team dynamic and not give coaches the day off but track and field reps were in favor of it due to unpredictable weather changes and part time coaches not being able to be at all practices times, and SAAC reps were in favor of coaches being able to recruit potential student athletes at prospect days.
-Adam Brinker and Coach Pete Brown spoke and thanked the SAAC reps for helping with the GoFundMe efforts for both of their wives who are battling cancer currently. Natalie Sullivan added to continue to donate and that currently football is in the lead with the amount of money donated so far. Eric and Coach Gabelman will be shaving their beards during common hour next week, Wednesday November 16th.
-MLK Elementary school volunteering is beginning tomorrow and will continue on each Thursday until the end of the term.
