Amelia Murray and the Union Dutchwomen invite you to take part in the Shutouts for Seizures campaign.
Epilepsy is a seizure disorder that one in 26 Americans will develop in their lifetime. Shutouts for Seizures is a fundraising initiative within the hockey community to raise money, spread awareness and support research for epilepsy.
Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE) is the leading nongovernmental agency fully committed to funding research inepilepsy. CURE’s mission is to cure epilepsy,Â
transforming and saving millions of lives.
Through SoS, fans can pledge to donate a certain dollar amount to CURE for each time a shutout is earned. To date, nearly $30,000 has been raised through Shutouts for Seizures.
