Prior to Union:
Kelly was a two time All-Nassau County Selection, All-Long Island and All-State Selections Senior Year.  He won the John Cody Memorial Award, was named MVP at the Nassau County Playoff Tournament.  Achieved All-League his sophomore year.  Played in the Ryan T. Caulfield Foundation All-Star game with the top players from Long Island as well as the Nassau County Exceptional Senior All-Star Game.  Was a four-time Nassau County Champion and a two-time Long Island Champion.  He holds the school record at Oyster Bay with 26 pitching wins and was named his teams MVP in his senior year.
