Union College Athletics

Hicks spent two years at Central Connecticut State University before transferring to SUNY Oneonta, where he pitched for the Red Dragons for two seasons. A graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, he helped the Brothers to a sectional championship as an outfielder in 2021. During his collegiate career, Hicks overcame Tommy John surgery and continued his development as a pitcher.

Hicks also pitched for the Glens Falls Dragons in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League, recording 27 innings, 26 strikeouts, and one save. In addition to his playing career, he has coached travel baseball, helping develop young athletes and sharing his passion for the game.
