Kris Darlington '02 started coaching Union's jumpers in 2003.  While at Union he has coached multiple all league and all state jumpers, as well as long jump school record holders Kyle Bucklin (outdoor) and Max Balter (indoor).  Darlington also designs the strength training programs for the team's jumpers and sprinters.
 
While at Union, Darlington was a four year letter winner for Union's track and field teams, competing in the triple, high and long jumps. A former conference champion and all-state competitor, he was a 6'4" high jumper and holds the Union all-time mark for the triple jump at 46' 3.5". He graduated from Union in 2002 with a B.S. in Industrial Economics.
 
In 2006, Darlington earned a MAT in Science Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and is dual certified in New York state to teach Physics and Chemistry.  He is currently teaching Physics and Chemistry at nearby Galway High School.
