Biography

2012: Played in 26 matches, tallying two kills, seven assists and 152 digs. Recorded 25 digs in the Interleague Challenge against Keene State...Recorded one kill in the match against Sage (Oct. 9).

2011: Played in nine matches, recording 36 digs and a kill.

2010: Played 17 sets and 14 matches... She had three assists, two service aces and 20 digs averaging 1.18 per set.

2009: Carissa played in 33 sets and 20 matches in her first season for the Dutchwomen...She posted 53 digs and 10 service aces...She is the twin sister of teammate Cristina.

Prior to Union: Carissa attended Niskayuna High School in Niskayuna NY where she was a varsity starter and class officer for three years. In her junior year Carissa helped lead the Silver Warriors to their first Section II, Class AA Championship since 1994 and was named to the Suburban Council All Star Second Team. As a senior she was co-captain along with her sister Cristina and named to the Suburban Council All Star First Team. Carissa graduated as a Scholar Athlete and received The Niskayuna High School Principles Award.
