Nicole Winchell enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Union College field hockey team in 2026.
Savage graduated from the University at Albany in 2010 and was a four-year standout on the field hockey team for the Great Danes. A four-time America East All-Star selection, she was named to the All-Conference first team and the NFHCA All-Northeast Region as a senior captain, when she led the squad with seven goals and nine assists for 23 points. She helped the Great Danes to the program's first America East championship and NCAA Tournament appearance as a junior, as well as the first of two straight America East regular-season titles.
She previously spent eight years in the Liberty League as an assistant coach at Skidmore College between 2010-18.
