Biography

Derrick was a First team New Jersey All Prep honoree in his junior and senior years. He also was named First team All-Mid-Atlantic Prep League in both of those seasons. Derrick was the captain of his senior year team and won the Maurice P. Shuman Football Award. Established by the 1960 football team in honor of the coach at the Peddie School, it is presented to the outstanding football player.
