Biography

Hayes was an all league player at Rutherford and played linebacker and TE there. He is an excellent player who started as a sophomore and had a good season last year.  He provides depth and experience at the position and knows the defense inside and out. He is a good downhill linebacker who can be a key factor for the defense this year.

2014: Named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team. Selected for the Liberty League Honorable Mention Defense. Recorded 74 total tackles, including 28 unassisted, along with two sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and an interception.

2013: Hayes was a Liberty League All Star Second Team selection. He led the Dutchmen with 86 tackles, including 36 unassisted, and had two forced fumbles with a fumble recovery.
