Mike DeWolfe '12 begins his fifth season as assistant coach for the Union College men's crew program. In addition to assisting Head Coach Tom White with the varsity team, DeWolfe works extensively with the novice squad.

In 2014-15, DeWolfe helped the Dutchmen to a pair of Liberty League Boat of the Week honors (Oct. 13, Oct. 27).  The Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight crews won a combined six races (three each) and the 2V8 squad defeated Hamilton to capture the Gilman Bowl.

DeWolfe rowed for four seasons (2008-12) at Union, serving as team captain for the undefeated Varsity Eights his senior year.  He helped the Dutchmen to a second-place finish at the Liberty League Championships the same year.  After competing with the novice as a freshman, DeWolfe broke into the varsity lineup his sophomore campaign.

A native of Ashland, Mass., DeWolfe earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Union in 2012. He works as an engineer at Dynamic Systems, Inc. in Poestenkill, N.Y.
