Biography
Pursing a research-oriented career, Union had a strong biology department and strong programs for undergraduate research. Union allowed me to continue pursing my passions - rowing crew and volunteering with programs that make education more accessible for underprivileged kids. Besides opportunities, Union promotes an environment of inclusivity and equality, a place that encourages and assists its students to pursue their aspirations, which as an international student I highly value.

At Union: Member of the Scholar's Program ... a Community Advisory and Biology Supplemental Instructor ... a Dean's List student ... has worked with Professor Pedsiza on cancer treatment research, Professor Robertson in synthesizing peptoid nanosheets, and Professor Yukilevich on Drosophila Athabasca sexual selection.
2022-23: Earned the women's team's Oarswoman of the Year award.
Prior to Union: A 2022 graduate of Karachi Grammar School ... was on the crew, swimming and soccer teams in high school.
