2015: RECIEVED UNION COLLEGE WOMEN'S COMMISSION AWARD...All-Liberty League First Team selection...Started all 35 games recording a batting average of .377 with 13 runs, 16 RBI, 40 hits, 9 doubles, a triple, Â and 2 home runs...pitched in every game this season, going 15-15 with 24 complete games and five shutouts...had an ERA of 2.84 in 202 innings with 127 strikeouts.
2014: Staats was a dual threat from third and the mound this season. Batting .358 with 3 homeruns, 3 triples and 8 doubles on 31 hits. While on the mound held a record of 11-6 with a 2.76 era, striking out 82 in 118.2 innings pitched.
2014 Liberty League First Team
2013:
Scored 1 run against Rochester on 5/3. Had a single, a double, 3 RBI's, and 3 runs against Middlebury (3/25). Had a double, run and 2 RBI's against Oberlin (3/27)...Went 4 for 5 on 4/6 in a double header against Skidmore, with 2 doubles, a homerun, 2 runs, and 4 RBI's. Also pitched 5 shutout innings and struck out 4 against Skidmore. Allowed only 1 run over 5 innings pitched in a win against St. Lawrence (4/7). Allowed 1 earned run and struck out 9 against SUNY Plattsburgh (4/9). Went 3 for 7 in the double header against Sage College with a double, an RBI and 2 runs. She also pitched the second game of the Sage double header and allowed 2 earned runs over 7 innings pitched while striking out six (4/18). Went 3 for 6 in the double header against RIT on 4/21. Also pitched 6 1/3 innings in the first game of the double header against RIT, allowing only 1 earned run and striking out 9....Went 1 for 6 with one run in the first game and had one run in the second game in a double header against SUNY New Paltz (4/24) ...Had 2 hits earning 2 runs and 1 RBI in the first game of a doubleheader against Oneonta on 4/26...On the same day she pitched 2 innings for a save in the first game and pitched 2.1 innings for a win in the second game...She pitched 3 perfects innings striking out three batters in a win over SUNY Plattsburgh and also batted 2 for 3 with 2 runs in the game...Went 2 for 3 at the plate in the first game against Utica (4/29) and 2 for 2 during the second game...Went 1-3 with a run scored in the Liberty League playoff game against Rochester (5/3), also pitched 2 innings, striking out 2 and allowing zero earned runs...Went 1-4 in the playoff game against St. Lawrence (5/4) - Union's only hit of the game - and also pitched 7 2/3 innings, striking out 5 and allowing only 1 earned rnun
2012:
In her freshman season, Allyson was awarded Liberty League Rookie of the Year honors and named to the Liberty League First Team...She started 37 games for the Dutchwomen...First on the team for batting average, she bat .389 in 113 at bats...Scored 21 runs...Leads team in hits (44), RBIs (32) and home runs (6)...Also first on team with a .673 slugging percentage and a .440 on base pecentage... On the mound, Statts had a 2.44 era...She pitched 86 innings, while striking out 73 batters.
Prior to Union:
Earned three ESCC All-Conference team honors...Two-time MVP for Benet Academy...In senior season, earned Daily Herald All-Area, Chicago Sun Times All-Area, Naperville Sun First Team All-Area, and Chicago Tribuen All-State Honorable Mention...Set a school record with 29 wins in her senior season, pitching 265 innings while batting .388.
