Jeff Farrington enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Union College Track and Field Program and will specialize in the pole vault. Farrington, a 1998 graduate of the University of Connecticut, ended his career as the school's record holder in the pole vault at 16'5''. The record stood until 2002. While at UConn, Farrington was a two-time captain and garnered multiple All-New England and All-Big East honors. Farrington was also a three-time IC4A qualifier and was the Penn Relays Eastern Division Champion in 1998.
Following his athletic career, Farrington has worked with many vaulters over the years at various schools and has also served as an assistant coach at the prestigious Don Hood Pole Vault Camp. Under his tutelage, Farrington has led many men to vault over 14' and women to vault over 10'
