Stephen Foster finished his second season as an assistant coach with the Union College men's and women's track & field teams in 2024-25, serving as the team's throws coach.
In his first season with the team, Foster helped to guide Mason Lang to USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the shot put and a combined four top-10 finishes at the Liberty League Championships. Two throwers (Lang and Nick Entner) also qualified for the AARTFC Outdoor Championships in the javelin as well. Entner also earned All-Region recognition during the 2005 outdoor season as well.
Foster brings years of international coaching experience in throws and pole vault to Union and also is a certified strength and conditioning coach. He graduated from York University in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in history.
