Debuted in style in Liberty League play with a season high 22 points at home vs. Skidmore...made 12 of 13 free throws in that game...Season high eight rebounds vs. Drew...Was MVP for basketball and soccer teams at Duanesburgh High....Also earned Channel 13 All-Star honors...COACH BURT SAYS: "Marissa will be called on to once again play a number of positions this year, but hopefully we won’t need her to play in the post like last season. She is such a great athlete and has a different aspect to her game than anyone else. We need to use this strength. She has a soft shooting touch, can drive to the basket and is a slasher cutting through the lane. She is exciting to watch in the open court and even her teammates don’t know what move she is going to use, a shot, a fake or a pass."
