2013-14: Appeared in all 34 games for the Dutchwomen during her junior season... Recorded career highs in goals (2), assists (15) and points (17)... Ranked second on the team in assists and fourth in points... Recorded three assists in a win over Providence (Oct. 4)... Recorded two assists versus Yale (Nov. 16)... Recorded a trio of assists against Maine (Dec. 14)... Tallied a goal in the Dutchwomen's loss to Princeton (Dec. 7)... Recorded a pair of assists in a win over Yale (Feb. 7)... Tallied the Dutchwomen's lone goal on senior day (Feb. 15)... Ranked fifth on the team in blocked shots (47)... Recorded 31 shots on goal. 

2012-2013: Played in all 34 games for the Dutchwomen, scoring one goal and seven assists for eight points...Tallied an assist on the power play in a loss against Boston University (Oct. 13)...Recorded an assist in a tie against Quinnipiac (Nov. 9)...Registered an assist on the power play in a loss against Quinnipiac (Dec. 1)...Scored her first collegiate goal on the game-tying goal in a 1-1 tie against Yale (Dec. 7)...Recorded an assist in a 3-2 win over Maine (Dec. 15)...Was credited with an assist in a loss against New Hampshire (Jan. 15)...Tallied an assist in a loss against St. Lawrence (Feb. 8).

2011-2012: Played in 30 games for the Dutchwomen...Recorded her first collegiate assist against Maine (Dec. 10)...Recorded an assist against Connecticut (Jan. 10)...Recorded an assist against Dartmouth (Jan. 14).

Prior to Union: Alex is a former member of the East Greenwich Varsity Hockey Boys Team, starting all four years of high school as the only girl...She was selected to the National Camp from 2007-2010, as well as named a New England Camp All-Star four years in a row...In 2009, Alex was named to the National Camp All-Star Team...Additionally, she was the only girl on the Cranston Reds, an all-boys Junior team... Was the Hobey Baker High School Recipient in 2011. 

Personal: Born on July 26, 1992...Alex is the daughter of Deb Tancrell...She has a brother named Gunnar-Wolfe and sister named Skylar...In addition, she has a puppy named Tiggy.
