Biography
2016-17: Named the recipient of the Leadership Award presented at the annual Union Athletics awards event...Named the team's George Morrison MVP, and also received the Unsung Hero Award and Hana Yamashita Coaches Award...Played in all 34 games, scoring three goals and assisting on an additional five goals...Scored the game winning goal on Senior Day against Dartmouth, scoring with 1:09 remaining in the game to give Union its second victory all-time against the Big Green...The two-time captain had multi point games twice this season assisting on both goals in a 2-1 win over Minnesota St.-Mankato on (12/16)Â and recording a goal and an assist in a 4-3 loss to Brown University (1/7).
2015-16: Named a captain in her junior season...Recorded six assists, including a season-high two against Minnesota State in the season opener...Recorded an assist against Colgate (10/30), Providence (12/1), Vermont (1/2) and Princeton (2/20)...Posted the game-tying goal at Maine (12/12)...Had 21 shots on goal and 39 blocked shots
2014-15: Played in all but two games in her sophomore season...Recorded season-highs in shots on goal with four at Northeastern (12/2) and Maine (12/12)...Finished with 16 shots on net...Had 10 blocked shots on the season.
2013-14:Â Appeared in 31 games for the Dutchwomen during her freshman year... Recorded two shots on goal in her first collegiate contest against UConn (Sep. 28)... Recorded her first collegiate point on an assist against Syracuse (Oct. 26)... Recorded seven shots on goal and four blocked shots during her freshmen season.
Prior To Union:Â Devins served as team captain her senior year at The Westminster School, helping the Martlets to a 19-4-0 record in the Founders League... A four year member of the varsity team, Devins finished her career with 17 goals and 27 assists, helping Westminster compile a combined record of 81-13-3 in four seasons.... Devins was a three-sport athlete at Westminster, serving as captain of both the field hockey and softball teams... Earned the Sportsmanship Award during her senior season of hockey at the Westminster School... Was named a WNEPSA All-Star during her junior and senior seasons of field hockey.
