Lora Ardoin

Lora Ardoin finished her first season as an assistant coach with the Union College women’s hockey program in 2023-24.

Ardoin comes to Union after spending two seasons as an assistant at Stevenson University, where she was responsible for recruiting, practice planning, and video breakdown.

Prior to her time with the Mustangs, Ardoin spent two seasons at Elmira College serving as a Graduate Assistant in women’s hockey operations, handling all video coordination in addition to other administrative tasks. The Soaring Eagles went a combined 35-5-2 in her two seasons and won a pair of United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) championships during Ardoin’s time with the program. Ardoin also served as the Intramural and Recreation Coordinator and as a Volunteer Women’s Lacrosse Coach during her time at EC.

Ardoin played collegiately at SUNY Canton from 2014-17, where she was a four-year captain of the Roos and helped guide Canton to their first Colonial Hockey Conference Tournament victory and semifinal appearance in program history in her senior season. Ardoin skated in 85 games throughout her collegiate career, tallying 13 goals and 12 assists for 25 points. She also lettered in lacrosse all four years in Canton, and was President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in her senior year.

Ardoin holds additional experience working with the USA Hockey National Camp, USA Hockey Coaching Education Program, and the Knoxville Ice Bears, a member of the SPHL. She graduated from SUNY Canton with a degree in Sports Management in 2017 and completed her Master’s in Management at Elmira College in the spring of 2021.
