2013-14: Appeared in all 34 games for the Dutchwomen during her senior campaign... Led the team in assists (18) and points (21)... Ranked near the top in the nation for power play assists (15) and blocked shots (77)... All three of her goals wer game winners including two n the power play... Recorded three assists against Yale (Nov. 16)... Recorded a goal and an assist against Yale (Feb. 7)... Finished her Dutchwomen career tied for secon in games played with 135.

2012-13: Appeared in all 34 games for the Dutchwomen...Tallied an assist in a tie against Quinnipiac (Nov. 9)... Was a member of the ECAC Hockey All-Academic team.

2011-12: Played in all 34 games for the Dutchwomen...Recorded two assists against Sacred Heart (Oct. 8)...Recorded an assist against Yale (Nov. 11)...Scored a goal against RPI (Jan. 27)... Was a member of the ECAC Hockey All-Academic team.

2010-11: Maddy played in 33 games this season, tallying her first career goal against Maine (Dec. 10) 17 seconds into the third period...She also had assists against both Brown (Feb. 5) and Princeton (Feb. 11)... An All-ECAC Hockey Academic Selection for her freshman season, Maddy was also voted Rookie of the Year by her teammates. 

Prior to Union: Maddy is a former member of the Choate Rosemary Hall Ice Hockey Team...Her junior season she was made Assistant Captain, as well as named Captain for her senior campaign...She earned Honorable Mention for the Eugenia Baker Jessup Award for the Greatest Contribution to Athletics in the Fifth Form, and also received Honorable Mention for the Coaches Hockey Award....Maddy won the Excellence in Hockey Award and was honored with the Rosemary Hall Scarf for Athletic Leadership and Enthusiasm.

Personal: Born on August 30, 1991... Daughter of Cathy Carpenter and Dave Norton... Maddy has four brothers, Darren, Daniel, Dennis and John, all of whom she grew up playing hockey with ... In high school, she also played soccer and lacrosse ... The American History Major and Economics Minor once spent two months in Tanzania on a community service trip to help build a classroom for a rural town outside of Arusha ... During the summer, Maddy lives at home in New Canaan, CT with her mother and dog, Boomer.
