Is a very skilled defender with the ability to move the puck up the ice… Can control things at the blueline and is an effective power-play unit member… Is a fierce competitor… Sees the ice well.
2005-06
Appeared in all 28 games for the Dutchwomen… Notched three assists… Had three shots on goal and an assist at Boston University on 10/15.
2004-05
Played in 32 of 34 games at University of Connecticut.
2003-04
Was one of only two freshmen to play in all 34 games at UConn… Tallied six assists… Recorded her first career point with an assist on a power-play goal against Quinnipiac on 11/7… Was voted the team’s Most Improved Player and was named to the Scholar Athlete Honor Roll.
Prior to Union
Attended North Caroline High School where she lettered in field hockey and softball… Was named captain of the field hockey team in 2002… Earned the Outstanding Female Athlete Award in 2002… Played two seasons for the Washington Pride of the Potomac Valley Amateur Hockey Association and was named co-captain for the women’s midget AA team in 2002-03.

Majoring in Studio Art and Biology ID… Was a participant at the Spring 2006 Steinmetz Symposium… Enjoys cooking and entertaining… Favorite movie is The Cutting Edge… After graduation plans on studying landscape architecture and professional gardening… Would like to coach a U-12 girls’ hockey team.
