Biography

2013-14: Played in all 34 games for the Dutchwomen during her sophomore campaign... Registered a goal against nationally ranked Boston University (Oct. 12)... Recorded assists against UConn (Sep. 28) and Dartmouth (Jan. 25)... Ranked fourth on the team in +/- (-6)... Recorded 30 shots on goal and 30 shot blocks on the season.

2012-2013: Played in 24 games for the Dutchwomen, recording two goals and three assists for five points...Recorded her first collegiate point on an assist against Syracuse (Nov. 2)... Registered her first career goal and an assist in the 4-3 win against Maine (Dec. 14)...Tallied an assist against Maine (Dec. 15)...Scored one goal in a loss against No. 5 Cornell (Feb. 1)... Named to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic team. 

Prior to Union: Babiak represented Manitoba at the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax and helped her team to a bronze medal at the 2011 Nationals in Quebec...Served as the Assistant Captain for the Balmoral Hall Blazers in 2012... Received the Balmoral Hall Hockey Merit Award as well as the Graduating All-Star Athlete of the Year in 2012... Babiak received top marks in physics, biology and chemistry as well as receiving the Science Award while at Balmoral Hall.

Personal: Born on July 19, 1994... Daughter Nadine and Matt Babiak.
