Union College Athletics

Alena Krug enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Union women’s lacrosse program after serving four years as the head coach of Division III Keuka College. While at Keuka College Krug was able to build the school’s first women’s lacrosse program. As if starting a whole new program from scratch was not hard enough, it only took Krug two years to guide her teams to back to back NEAC Conference Championships (Northeastern Athletic Conference) in 2009 and 2010, and a NAC Conference Championship (North Atlantic Conference) in 2010. Krug also served as the head volleyball coach during her four years at Keuka College.
