    Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

Brad Utter completed his 13th season as assistant coach with the Union College women's soccer program in 2019.

Before coming to Schenectady, Utter previously served as an assistant with the University at Albany women’s soccer team (1998-2002).

Utter also served as a state coach in the Eastern New York Olympic Development Program (ODP) for both the girls and boys programs from 1998-2006 and 2016. He has served as the girls U13-U23 Director of Coaching and for the Alleycats Soccer Club premier program based in Albany and continues to work as a trainer for the club.

Utter's collegiate playing career included two seasons at Division II Lander University and two years at Ulster Community College.  He graduated from Lander in 1997 and went on to play semi-pro soccer with the Electric City Shockers. 

A native of East Fishkill, N.Y., Utter has a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National “B” license and a NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma.

Brad and his wife, Traci, have three children, Sam, Sylvia and Nick.
