2012-2013: Swam in four relays in which the 200-freestyle placed second with Danielle splitting a time of 26.11 and the 400 free relays placed second with Danielle leading off the relay with a time of 57.35 at the Union Relays (Oct. 27)...In a dual meet versus Rochester (Nov.10), Danielle finished second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:01.35 and second in the 500 yard free with a time of 5:29.23. She also swam the first leg of the 400-yard free relay, helping her team to a second place finish in the race...Was a member of the 200-freestyle relay team that placed third against Williams with a time of 1:44.80 (Nov. 17)...Placed in the top 10 in four events at the Liberty League Championships (Nov. 30 - Dec. 1)...Was highlighted in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.38), the 500-yard freestyle (5:26.12) and the 200-yard freestyle relay placing third, second and third respectively in a loss against Amherst (Dec. 5). Danielle participated in the 400-yard medley, helping the team to third place with a time of 4:17.65 againts Springfield College and Hartwick College (Jan.5). Placed first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:01.27, placed first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 56.79, and helped the women's relay earn first place in the 200-yard freestyle splitting at 52.27, in a dual-meet against RPI (Jan. 11)...Earned runner-up finishes in the 100 & 200-yard butterfly events with times of 56.15 and 2:01.44 respectively in a loss against Hamilton (Jan. 26). Got third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 57.09 in the duel meet against Ithaca. Placed second inthe 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:13.34 (Feb. 2). Danielle swam in the 500 free with a time of 5:16.95, the 200 free with a time of 1:58.36 and the 100 free with a time of 55.10.  Young also swam on the 400 free relay that placed 7th and the 800 relay that placed 4th at the UNYSCS Championship Meet at Ithaca College (Feb 20-23) 

2010-11: During this season, Young was named the Liberty League Rookie of the Year, and three times named the CoRookie of the week, and 2 time named the Rookie of the Week... At Rochester on November 13, she won the 100 Free with a time of 55.42... At the Liberty League Championships, she and the 400 Freestyle Relay team won with a time of 3:40.43... On January 2 at Amherst, she placed 2nd in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 56.01... At States she placed 4th in the 500 Free with a time of 5:08.54, 2nd with the 200 Freestyle Relay team with a time of 1:35.50, 4th in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:56.54, 2nd with the 800 Relay team with a time of 7:47.35, and 2nd with the 400 Freestyle Relay team with a time of 3:32.64... The 200 (13th out of 16 with a time of 1:35.14) and 400 Freestyle Relay teams both qualified for Nationals; the first women's relay teams to do so.
