Charlotte Hamilton begins her first season as an assistant coach with the Union College men’s and women’s tennis teams in 2018-19.
 
Hamilton comes to Union from nearby Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she has served as an assistant coach with the women’s tennis team from 2014-18. She also has coaching experience at Charleston Southern University (2013-14) and Skidmore College (2012-13).
 
Hamilton played her final two years of college tennis at the University of Albany, where she captained the Great Danes for two years and twice earned team Most Valuable Player honors. She played primarily at third singles and second doubles for Albany, boasting a 41-10 singles record and a 32-18 doubles mark. Previously, she spent her first two years at Central Alabama Community College, leading the Trojans to a pair of conference titles from the first singles and doubles slots and posting a school-record 42 doubles victories.
 
Hamilton received her associates of science degree from CACC in 2007 and earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology from Albany in 2009.
