Don Dudley finished his 19th season with the Union College women's and men's tennis programs in 2024-25.  Serving primarily as an assistant coach, Dudley also served as interim head coach for both teams in 2014-15.

Dudley was part of the Liberty League Women's Tennis Co-Coaching Staff of the Year in 2023-24 after guiding Union to the best season in program history, winning a program-record 11 matches and earning the program's first postseason victory since 2003 with a thrilling 5-4 win over St. Lawrence in the first round of the Liberty League Tournament. The team, which started six first-years or sophomores on a consistent basis, also earned the first ITA national ranking in program history and was listed in every NCAA regional ranking during the spring season.  In addition, the men's tennis doubles tandem of Ben Jacobs and Dimitris Binopoulos ended the season regionally ranked by the NCAA, while Jacobs finished "in consideration" for a regional ranking in singles play.

Dudley has spent more than 30 years as a teaching professional, working at Sportstime Schenectady, the Schenectady Racquet Club and the Colonie Athletic Club. Dudley was a sectionally-ranked junior tennis player and continues to compete in USTA-sanctioned tournaments.

Founder of the Dudley Tennis Academy, Don established the Donny Dudley Tennis Foundation to honor the memory of his son, Don Jr., who passed away in 2011.

A Niskayuna native, Don and his wife Jennifer have five children: Brittany, Lindsey, Kaila, Becca and Dominic.  The Dudleys reside in Burnt Hills.
