Jessica Fowler begins her first season as an assistant coach with the Union College women's volleyball team in 2021.
Fowler brings years of experience from the coaching ranks, including four years as an assistant coach with the IREVA High Performance program. In addition to serving as the program intern in 2019, she moved into the Program Coordinator role in 2020.
Fowler was a four-year volleyball player at SUNY Oneonta, leaving her mark as the top setter in program history. In 123 career matches, she finished as the program’s all-time leader with 3,598 assists and also sits fourth all-time in career service aces (207) in addition to adding 726 digs. She boasts three of the top-seven single-season assist totals in school history, as well as the top-four and eight of the top-12 single-match assist totals ever for the Red Dragons.
A native of Burnt Hills and a member of the BH-BL 2015 Class A state championship team, Fowler graduated from Oneonta in 2020 with a degree in sport management and a minor in athletic coaching. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in childhood and literacy education from Russell Sage College.
