Rachael Wells begins her first season as an assistant women’s volleyball coach at Union in 2018.
Wells will assist head coach Laura Falkowitz in all day-to-day operations of the Dutchwomen volleyball program, including on- and off-campus recruiting, fundraising and alumni affairs, and game and practice preparation and instruction.
Wells played collegiately at Kean University, playing four years on the volleyball court for the Cougars from 2012-16. In 97 career matches for Kean, Wells recorded 424 kills and 173 blocks while adding 106 aces and 115 digs. As a sophomore, she put down 161 kills and 76 blocks in helping the Cougars to their first ECAC Metro-Upstate Championship.
Wells graduated from Kean in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology.
