Biography

2014-2015: Started 24 of the 25 games he played during the 2014-2015 season, scoirng 264 points averaging 20.4 points a game. Recorded 38 assists and 15 steals.
2013-2014:
Winney started in all 24 games in the 2013-2014 season gaining a total of 366 points averaging 15.3 points per game...He lead the team in 3 pointers and free throws with 36 and 80 respectively...Winney was recognized on the Liberty League Honor Roll in the week of December 2nd as well as given honorable mention on the Liberty League All Star team.

2012-13: Winney was named a Liberty League Honorable Mention guard...He has had a handful of double-figure games thus far this season.. Had 20 points against Skidmore, 15 points against Vassar, 17 points against RPI, and 16 points against Utica.. Set his new career-best with an impressive 26 points against Clarkson, when he made 6 out of 7 three-point attempts.. Scored 13 points in the double OT loss against Hobart..Tallied 18 points in a win against St. Lawrence...Posted 14 points against RPI in the semifinal game. Played in 25 games this season and started in 8. Finished 3 on the team in scoring with 10.8 points per game and also pulled down 2.6 rebounds a game. Shot 0.507 % from the field and 0.769 % from the free throw line. Also had 36 assists and 18 steals.

2011-12: Received the Freshman Athletic Prize which is presented to a freshman male athlete for attitude, ability, participation and achievement in intercollegiate sports.. Named to the Liberty League All Rookie Team.. Played in all 25 games while starting one.. Pulled down 75 rebounds averaging 3.0 rebounds per game...Averaged 8.6 points per game and earned 31 assists

Prior to Union: Terell was a Channel 13 All Star and League MVP...Made the Times Union and Gazette All-Area Team...Named nycapitalsports.net Athlete of the Month...His team was Section II Champions in 2008-2009...Sectional Finalists in 2010-2011...Two-time League Champions

Personal: Terell is the son of Kevin and Rachel Winney and is currently enrolled in the scholars program here at Union College.
