Union College Athletics

Brianne Brinker begins her 22nd season as a member of the Union College staff in 2025-26. She was hired as the Managing Director of Messa Rink at Achilles Center in 2004 and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities in 2008.

In her role, Brinker is the event manager for all Union men's and women's ice hockey home contests, and also is in charge of scheduling, operations, and programming at the department's athletic facilities.

Brinker came to Union from the University of Findlay, where she served as the head women's ice hockey coach of Findlay's Division I program from 1999-2004. She served in Ice Arena Management at the University of Michigan for three years. Brinker was the head coach of the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the USHL for three seasons (1994-95 through 1996-97), and was the head coach of a minor pro hockey team in the Sunshine Hockey League for two years.

A 1987 graduate from Kent State University, Brinker was an All-American goalie for the Kent State hockey team and was inducted into the school's Varsity "K" Hall of Fame in 2016. Brinker also received her master's in Sport Administration from Kent State in 1993.
