Mike Manley '23 begins his first season as an assistant coach with the Union College men's basketball team in 2026-27.
Manley returns the sidelines of his alma mater following an excellent four-year career on the court for Union from 2018-23. The guard started all 49 games for Union in two seasons after the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the 2020-21 campaign, averaging 15.1 points per game over his last two years and earning All-Liberty League second-team honors in 2022. He became the 24th player in program history to record 1,000 career points as a senior and graduated 21st all-time in scoring at the College with 1,074 points in 95 games, including 197 three-pointers that rank seventh on the school's all-time list.
Manley graduated from Union in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in history.
