LaDuca freelanced regularly on game days with several Division I schools while in the nation’s capital, such as Georgetown University, George Washington University, and American University. He also worked the CAA women’s basketball championship hosted in southwest D.C., and he input statistics for the 2025 BIG 10 women’s lacrosse championship hosted in College Park, Md.

Prior to his time in D.C., LaDuca spent three years at University of Lynchburg, a Division III school in Lynchburg, Va. After originally arriving as a sports information graduate assistant in 2021, he was promoted to director of athletic communications in 2023 and served as the primary contact for all of Lynchburg’s Division III programs. While leading all of the sports information and digital media efforts for the Hornets, LaDuca covered Lynchburg’s baseball team during its national championship season in 2023, three single-discipline national championship equestrian teams, a distance-medley relay national championship, and one individual national champion in outdoor track. Lynchburg’s programs won 32 conference championships during LaDuca’s tenure covering its teams, and LaDuca and his communications staff hosted seven NCAA Tournament events across multiple sports on campus from 2021-2024.

A College Sports Communicators member since 2021, LaDuca won the 2023-24 Fred Stabley, Sr. Writing Contest in the college division for his feature story on social justice efforts in Rwanda by Lynchburg’s women’s soccer team. He also worked with a very successful digital team that won several awards from CSC for their social media, photography, and videography efforts.

LaDuca began his career in athletic communications in 2018 at his alma mater, SUNY Geneseo, where he studied history. LaDuca interned for Geneseo’s athletic communication staff for three years and worked most closely with Geneseo’s nationally-ranked men’s ice hockey team, serving as the play-by-play announcer.

Originally from Rochester, N.Y., LaDuca now lives in Schenectady, N.Y. with his wife Liberty and their pet cat Schmee. LaDuca is a life-long Bills fan, has run two half-marathons, and likes playing Ultimate in his free time when he’s not watching or working in sports.
